He was predeceased by: his daughter Shelly Olsen; his parents, Marvin Woofter and Vera Woofter; and his brothers, Ronnie Woofter, Merle Woofter and Ricky Reeves.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Woofter; his children, Rusty Woofter, Stacey Alvis (Troy) of Rogersville and Amy Culler (Nick) of Elizabethton; his grandchildren, Brittany Carnes, Chris Woofter, Justin Olsen, Alex Olsen, Miranda Olsen, Logan Alvis of Brentwood, TN, Briana Alvis of Crossville, Reece Culler of Elizabethton and Mia Culler of Elizabethton; and his siblings, David Reeves of Michigan and Laurel Davis of Michigan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Christian Sells Funeral Home (1520 E Main St, Rogersville, TN 37857). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
