He was predeceased by: his significant other Wilma Laymon Woods; his parents, JB Woods and Nellie Woods; and his sisters, Patricia Warner (Pat) and Mary Lawson (Mert).
He is survived by: his daughter Donna Sue Woods; his stepchildren, Melanie Sizemore (Kevin), Kim Ringley and Mike Ringley of Rogersville; his sisters, Tammy Woods Davis of Bulls Gap and Brenda Woods of Rogersville; and his grandchildren, Trevor Gray (Morgan), Keaton Gray (Jennifer), Kaylee Gray Short (Ethan), Cody Kinsler (Jennifer), Levi Ringley and Jared Courtney. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Christian Sells Funeral Home (1520 E Main St, Rogersville, TN 37857). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A procession was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the County Line Cemetery - Rogersville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the family.
