He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Pinkston and Mae Pinkston; his sons, Don Pinkston and Jerry Pinkston; and his sisters, Margaret Carter, Deanna Campbell and Willie Wisecarver.
He is survived by: his wife Cleo Henard Pinkston; his son Terry Pinkston of Rogersville; his sister Betty Lois Wheeler (Charlie) of Morristown; and his daughter-in-law Tina Pinkston of Rogersville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
