David Lynn Trent Obituary
David Lynn Trent, age 53, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 6, 2021. He enjoyed wood working and working with his hands. David was a father figure to many kids in the community. He loved to teach children about the Lord every chance he got. He enjoyed working in his garden and canning food for his family. David was a provider and loved to take care of his family. He loved the Lord and always said he was never alone while working in his shop because it was always him and the Lord. He loved taking his whole family on late night snack runs.
He is preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Bruce Trent; sister, Linda Marie Simpson; nephew, Allen Simpson.
He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Trent; children and two nieces, Tyler Lynn Trent, Jakob Ryan Trent, David Lynn Trent, Kailey Nicole Trent, Carlie Marie Trent and Catie Lee Trent; mother, Mary Evelyn Simpson; brothers, Gale Trent, James Lloyd Trent and Danny Lee Trent; many special friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to help with funeral expenses.
Family will receive friends from 5-7pm on Monday, August 9th at Christian-Sells Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, August 10th at Dean Cemetery with Rev. Rex Cole officiating.
