He is survived by: his wife Kaye Hammond; his son David Jack Hammond, Jr. (Mary); his stepchildren, Emily Trent and Eric Bray; his siblings, Gregory Hammond (Tonya) and Lisa Dunlap; and his siblings-in-law, Audrey Marcum, Lee Davenport (Lucy), Arthur Davenport (Carolyn), Joe Davenport (Sandy) and Roger Davenport (Brenda). He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family has asked those attending the services to please wear a mask and follow social distancing guidelines.
