He is survived by: his wife Joyce Short; his children, Toni Bishop and Jason Burns (Sherie); his grandchildren, Ryan Sims, Chad Bishop, Justin Burns, Amber Bishop and Heaven Burns; his great grandchildren, Luke Sims, Daisy Bishop and Koda Sims; and his siblings, Jack Short, Thelma Kleppler, Wanda Green and Lillie Leonard.
