He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Katie Hurd-Adkins; his child Michael Kurtis Adkins; his parent Ted; his siblings, Corey Adkins (Heather), Kourtni Combs (Randy), Kasi Adkins and Zach Cornish; his grandparents, Robert, Peggy Adkins, Darrell, Kay Dugger, Carson and Mary Carpenter; his niece Rylee Adkins; and his cousin Colleen Dugger. He was also cherished by animals and had created a fund for an animal rescue he and his wife.
