He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Garber and Virgie "Tennie" Wallace Garber; his siblings, Charlsey Smith and William Heiskell Garber; and his brother-in-law Clayton Smith.
He is survived by: his daughters, Diane Carroll (George) of Bulls Gap, Janice Webb of Rogersville, Carrie Garber of Rogersville, Jill Glatt of Rogersville and Phillip Webb of Rogersville; his brother Howard Gene Garber of Rogersville; and also Joyce Wallace of Rogersville. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
