She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Thurman and Pearl Thurman (Looney); her husband Willie Charles (Bill); her daughter Carole Parks; her sisters, Frances Dickerson (Willard) and Billie Carmack (Glenn); and her son-in-law Harry Lee Bailey (HL).
She is survived by: her daughters, Ellen Bailey (Tommy Thomas) of Mount Carmel, TN and Susan Fields of Kingsport, TN; her grandsons, William Fields of Kingsport, TN, Brent Parks and David Parks (Samantha Mattern); her great grandchild Caroline Parks; and her son-in-law Bruce Parks (Martha) of Eastern Shore, VA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Highland Cemetery (899 E Main St, Rogersville, TN 37857).
