She was predeceased by: her husbands, Curtis M. Porter and Harold Setser; her parents, Jay Newsome and Alice Newsome; her daughter Pauline Newsome; her grandchildren, Ashley Dawn Hinkle and Kenneth Ray Cook; her siblings, George Newsome, Tackette Newsome and Charlene Hinkle; and her nieces and nephews, James Niels Newsome, Travis Carter, Sherman Jay Newsome, Leahann Barns, Lora Lea Porter and Florence Allison Porter.
She is survived by: her children, Rickie Newsome, Remonia Blevins, Norma Gail Beals (Jody) and Brandon Porter; and her siblings, Rodger Newsome, Shirley Jay Newsome, James Newsome, Robert Newsome, Michael Newsome, Albert Newsome, Glen Newsome and Roselene Rose. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and one step great-grandson.
