We are sad to announce that on April 7, 2025, at the age of 92, Benjamin Elbert Rose of Rogersville, Tennessee, born in Clintwood, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Freda Rose; and his parents, James Rose and Fallie Rose. He is survived by: his children, Howard Rose (Elaine), Zina Buell (Ricky) and Patricia Compton; his grandchildren, Kelly Petree (Matt), Jessy Anderson (Charles) and Crystal Barnett; his stepgranddaughter Jamie Key (Augustus); his great grandchildren, Liam, Lakyn, Gus and Sloane; and also, Kathy Hughes, Cody Brooks and Ben.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stubblefield Funeral Home (5421 E Andrew Johnson Hwy, Russellville, TN 37860). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Riverview Baptist Church (540 Riverview Chruch Rd, Bean Station, TN 37708).
