Ray Devaney Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ray Devaney of Rockwood, Tennessee, who passed away on March 5, 2024 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ray Devaney to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Lum Devaney and Helen Wallace Devaney; his daughter Debra Lewis; his granddaughter Emily Owens; and his siblings, Thelma Hughes, Betty Ann Thomas, George Devaney, Robert Devaney, William Devaney, Eugene Devaney, Mack Devaney and Donald Devaney.

He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Newcome Devaney; his children, Kim Cates (Darrell) and Craig Devaney (Katie); his grandchildren, Hilary Cates-Nelson (Jason), Justin Cates (Hannah), Allison Devaney and Kea Kipilii Peoples; his siblings, Howard Devaney and Louise Crabtree (Robert); and his sister-in-law Gail Devaney.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the First Baptist Church in Rockwood.
