With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Raiden Godwin of Rockwood, Tennessee, who passed away on January 2, 2024 at the age of 15. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his great-grandparents, Doyal Godwin, Robert, Beverly Kaspar, Henry and Eudorah Magee; and his uncle Jack Weingarten.

He is survived by: his parents, Steve Godwin and Sabrina Godwin; his siblings, Adriana Godwin and Triton Godwin; his grandparents, Susanna, Steve Arndt, Steven and Sam Godwin; his aunts and uncles, Bruce, Yolanda Weingarten, Bonnie and Herb Koth; and his close friends, Nakeyia Rich, Mahomes, Bryce and Kalena Goins.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Evans Mortuary (PO Box 6 Rockwood, TN 37854).

“I didn't know him well, but he was a cool kid to talk to now and then in elementary school. I remember seeing him on the way to a wrestling meet. I tried talking to him, but unfortunately, I don't think he recognized me. Nevertheless, I'm proud of the things he achieved in his life. I send my wishes and prayers to his family and friends.”
