He was predeceased by: his wife Esther Proffitt Brown; and his siblings, Joseph David Brown, Unavee Bean and Ginny Daughtery. He is survived by: his daughter Susan Brown Wells; his son-in-law Kim Wells of Granger, IN; his grandsons, Brian and Ian Wells; his granddaughter-in-law Robyn Winsett Wells of Mishawaka, IN; his great grandchildren, Noah and Isaac Wells; his siblings, Grady, Edd, Charles, Robert Brown and Brenda Layne; and his close friend Joyce Robbins. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
