He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobart E. Hurley and Viola Clark Hurley; his wife Zona Gale Hurley; and his grandson Tyler Floyd Hurley. He is survived by: his children, Randy Hurley (Jeri) of Rockwood and Cathy Burgess (Chet) of Knoxville; his grandchildren, Riley Burgess, Coly Burgess and Kristopher Hurley; and his son Dr. Ronnie Higgs.
