She was predeceased by: her parents, Wade K. Smith and Velma Ruth Holloway Smith; and her siblings, Wade Kay Smith, James L. Smith, Robert D. Smith, Fern Bunch and Mardis Jones.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Thompson (Tommy); her children, Suzette Nolan and Eric Nolan (Kelsey Hall); her sister Joy Stoker; her nieces, Phyllis Raines (Benny), Brenda Hicks (Terry) and Judy Sharp (Randall); and her close friends, Martha Gullett, Ginger Stout, Linda Stein and Carson Lockman. She is also survived by several nieces and nephew and great nieces and nephews.
