With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Katherine Sexton Samson of Rockwood, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Katherine Sexton left this world on November 8, 2024 at the age of 72, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Preston Sexton and Ruby Gaylardo; her grandmother Ella Gibson; and her brother Clarence Sexton. She is survived by: her husband Dave Samson of Rockwood, TN; her daughters, Nikki Reed (Justin) of Westmoreland, TN and Lori Holt (Jason) of Dawsonville, GA; her grandchildren, Katherine Holt, Joshua Holt, Isaiah Reed, Andrew Holt and Eli Reed; and her siblings, Tom Sexton and Sheila Koelber. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Whites Creek Baptist Church (131 Abels Valley Rd, Rockwood, TN 37854). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
