She was predeceased by: her parents, Burl Medlin and Velma Medlin; her husband John H. Houston, Jr.; her daughter Deborah Wright; and her brother Robert Medlin.
She is survived by: her son Daniel L.; her children-in-law, Martha L. Houston of Rockwood, TN. and Dennis Wright of Knoxville, TN.; her granddaughter Alicia Reed Jessica (Thomas); her great grandchildren, Peyton Reed, Ellie Reed and Haley Wilson; and her sister-in-law Ruth Medlin of Knoxville, TN.
