She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Burke and Grace Burke; and her sister Margaret Sprague. She is survived by: her husband Phillip H. Newman; her children, John (Jackie), McMaster, Christina Satterlund (Carl) and Jenny Varraso (Joe); her grandchildren, Carl (C. J.), Joseph Satterlund and Isabella Varraso; her sisters, Catherine McMaster and Elizabeth Trinchera; and her cousins, Brian Burke (Lara) and James Burke (Butch).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Evans Mortuary (805 N Gateway Ave, Rockwood, TN 37854). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that you send memorial contributions to The Rockwood Ministerial Association (Food Pantry), First Christian Church, Rockwood, or to your local animal rescue or shelter in memory of Dottie.
