He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Gottfried and Nellie Gottfried; and his brother Fordyce Gottfried. He is survived by: his wife Frances Gottfried of Rockwood; his daughters, Sharon Kay Merwin (John) of Harriman, Brenda Sue Halderman of Harriman and Diane Fletcher of Findlay Ohio; and his grandchildren, Dawn Adams, Shawn Adams and Jason Cole.
