“Of all of my brother's frat brothers at MTSU, Smokey was my most favorite. My brother Dwight and I shared a home while in college, and Smokey was a frequent guest. He was always so courteous and so funny that I looked forward to his visits. He was a good and loving man, and my friend whom I loved very much. My heart goes out to you, and I pray to my Savior to give His love and comfort to you during this time. Helen Schultz”
