Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Bobby Joe Headrick of Rockwood, Tennessee, who passed away at the age of 61, on December 28, 2024. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence William Headrick and Helen Louise Cox Headrick; his granddaughter Braylee Hope Brown; his siblings, Raymond Cotton Headrick, Ruth Ann Headrick and Connie Headrick; his parents-in-law, Charles "Sub" Boles Sr. and Elsie Boles; and his nephew Michael Foland.
He is survived by: his wife Sonja Headrick; his children, Tiffany Whittenbarger (Shane), Erica Brown (Tyler), Ethan Headrick (Haley) and Sarah Headrick (Ethaniel); his grandchildren, Haley Whittenbarger, Isabella Whittenbarger, Akiyah Headrick, Carter Brown, Hayzlee Smith and Rowan Headrick; his siblings, Roy Headrick, Wanda Eddington, Donnie Headrick, Ralph Headrick, James Headrick, Johnnie Headrick and Barbara Williams; and his close friend Tim Eichinger. He is also survived by in-laws nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the North Rockwood Baptist Church (1300 N Gateway Ave, Rockwood, TN 37854). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Odd Fellow Cemetery Odd Fellows Cemetery.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Evans Mortuary to help with funeral expenses during this time, as Bobby Joe has helped to give to so many throughout his life.
