It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Arvel McNelly of Rockwood, Tennessee, who passed away on February 15, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Polly McNelly; his parents, Sam McNelly and Mary McNelly; his siblings, Ardell, Reuben, Winford (Brownie), Howard, Stanley McNelly, Vivian, Flossie and Martha; and his daughter-in-law Alice McNelly.

He is survived by: his son Larry McNelly of Rockwood; his grandchildren, Jay McNelly (Pam) of Texas and Anne Bell (Charles) of Midtown; his great grandchildren, Charlie, Reaghan, Alena, Dillan, Brandon and Shelby Lynn; and his close friend Margaret Flynt (Marie McCuiston).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his honor to the Eureka Baptist Church or the Rockwood United Methodist Church.
