She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Sue Adams; her spouse T. W. Vaughn; her children, Priscilla Adams, Ruben and Rodney Vaughn; and her siblings, Betty Roberts and Carl Adams.

She is survived by: her granddaughter Kristen McDowell (Josh) of Murfreesboro, TN. She is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren.
