With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Louise Ashley in Rockvale, Tennessee, born in Norfolk, Virginia, who passed away on March 7, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren King and Ida Lee Harris King; her husband Herbert Stewart Ashley; her daughter Theresa Marlene Posey; her sisters, Norma Lee Vollmer, Gloria Alice Miracle and Edna Faye Kindley; and her granddaughter Tonya Marie Van Bibber.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Cantrell (Jeff), Troy Edwards (Manuela), Tonya Hughes and Monica Ward (Rex); her sister Carol Cartwright; her grandchildren, Carter Cantrell, Ella Cantrell, Sabrina Edwards, Matt Edwards, John Van Bibber, Shawn Ward, Travis Clark (Kimmie Davis), Brent Ray and Mason Ray; and her great grandchildren, Sammy Edwards, Jude Edwards, Tinley Clark and Cohen Clark. She is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, and family friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alive Hospice of Murfreesboro in her memory.
