He is survived by: his wife Greta Delbridge Brown; his daughters, Tammy Brown Hite (Jeff), Diana Brown and Kristi Brown DeGraw (Andy); his grandchildren, Christopher Davenport (Bethann), Jennifer Tedder (Eric), Parker DeGraw and Sydney DeGraw; his great grandchildren, Meric Tedder, Brennen Tedder, Scout Davenport and Violet Davenport; and his siblings, James "Jim" Brown and Virginia Brown Jackson.
