We are sad to announce that on November 29, 2024, at the age of 81, Billy Joe Johnson of Rockvale, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Billy Joe leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Billy Joe may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Johnson and Margaret Droke Johnson Roberts; and his wife Patricia Burns Johnson. He is survived by: his sons, Billy Joe "BJ" Johnson, II (Jessica) of Rockvale, TN and Michael James Michael Johnson of Rockvale, TN; his grandchildren, Eli Johnson, Savannah Johnson and Riley Johnson; and his brother Coy Johnson (Nancy) of Johnson City, TN.. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Burns Cemetery. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
