We bid farewell to Richard Scudder (Rockford, Tennessee), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 26, 2024 at the age of 73. Richard touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Alexander Scudder and Lorraine Walker Scudder; and his siblings, James Alexander Scudder II and Debra Poindexter. He is survived by: his wife Inger Scudder; his children, Leah Scudder, Melissa Preudhomme (Curtis) and Rik Scudder; and his grandchildren, Wesley Vaughan, Nathaniel Vaughan, Lexis Scudder, Lyndon Ewing, Josiah Scudder and Journee Scudder. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
A reception was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Mt. Pleasant AME Zion Church (3664 Mt Pleasant Church Rd, Rockford, TN 37853).
