He is survived by: his wife Julia Ernst; his daughter Marie; his son-in-law Dave Michels; his son Marc; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Ernst; his grandsons, Kevin, Craig Michels, Nicholas and Jacob Ernst; his sister Margaret; and his brothers-in-law, John, Charles and Harland. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
