With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Hawthorne (Rock Island, Tennessee), born in Gainesboro, Tennessee, who passed away on May 7, 2019 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Hawthorne and Ruth Mundy Hawthorne; and his wife Theresa Hawthorne. He is survived by: his children, Michael Hawthorne (Rena) and Donnia Smith (Jerry Beverly Thompson); his grandchildren, Tammi Potter, Jeremy Smith, Jeffrey Smith, Wynenma Conley, Elizabeth Boyd, Angelia McCarver and Thomas Johnson; and his sister-in-law Ann Hawthorne Many. He is also survived by son 15 great grandchildren 4 great great grandchildren.
