He was predeceased by: his parents, Haskel Hitchcock and Hassie Hitchcock; and his siblings, Tillman Powell Hitchcock and Shelby Jean Hitchcock Bracey. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Lorene Hitchcock; his sons, Gregory Hitchcock (Patricia) and John Tillman Hitchcock; his granddaughter Allison Lorene Hitchcock; and his sisters, Barbara Hitchcock Foster (Frank) and Maxine Hitchcock. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
