He was predeceased by: his parents, Classy Bernell and Beulah Daisy Certain Young; his children, Victor J. Young and Deborah Annette Elkins; and his siblings, Ruth Martin, Glenn Young and Jimmy Young.
He is survived by: his wife Elsie Young of Rock Island, TN; his stepson Timothy Davis (Barbara Carlson) of Manchester, TN; his grandchildren, Amanda Elkins and Jason Elkins; his brother Farris Young (Brenda) of Nashville, TN; his daughter-in-law Janice Kirby Young; and his sisters-in-law, Georgia Young and Margaret Young.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant Cove Church of Christ.
