He was predeceased by: his parents, Myrl Phillips and Mildred Gunthorp Phillips; and his sister Margaret Clow (Linda Johnson). He is survived by: his children, Dale Phillips (Laura) of Sturgis, MI and Andrew Phillips of Burr Oak, MI; his grandchildren, Joshua Phillips and Kristina Creech; his great grandchildren, Jude Phillips, Charlotte Creech and Greyson Creech; and his sister Janet Shears of Sturgis, MI. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
