She was predeceased by: her husband Loyde "Slim" Stembridge; her granddaughter Charity Star Stembridge; her sister-in-law Ethel Stembridge; and also, Lula Mae, Remus McCormick, Marie Wolf, Lucredia Brown and Pauline McCormick.
She is survived by: her children, Vivian Merriman of Rock Island, Eddie Stembridge (Margaret) of Morrison and Richard Stembridge (Melinda) of Rock Island; her grandchildren, Dawn Meeks (Bobby), Jesse Merriman (Chasity), Krystal Merriman, Tammy Merriman Wilson (Justin), Brian Stembridge (April), Michael Stembridge (Katrina), Tina Roberts (Richard), Jessica Meeks Thompson (Chris), Brandon Stembridge and Travis Hawkins (Paige); her nieces, Ann Darnbush of McMinnville, Mildred Forsyth of Beersheba Springs and Elaine Jones of Arizona; and her nephew Ralph McCormick. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren.
