Jim Slatten Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Slatten of Rock Island, Tennessee, born in Sparta, Tennessee, who passed away on February 24, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Wade" Slatten, Jr. and Mildred Marie Boyd Slatten; and his brother William "Bill" Wade Slatten, III. He is survived by: his son William "Wade" Slatten, IV; his sister-in-law Martha Sue Williford; his niece Holly Slatten Wallace (Randy Wallace); his great-nephew Tripp Wallace; and his great-niece Maggie Wallace.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the White County Football Team in care of Hunter Funeral Home, PO Box 90, Sparta, TN 38583.
