It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Elaine Nunley of Rock Island, Tennessee, who passed away on January 12, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Lee and Dolly Frances Pollard Adcock; her husbands, Orvil Goodwin and Homer Nunley; and her brothers, Billy Ray Adcock and Lee Royce Adcock.

She is survived by: her children, Orvil Goodwin (Shannon) of Rock Island, Roy Lee Goodwin (Anna) of Smithville, Susie Thomason (Jeff) of Smithville, Debra Hill (Justin) of Smithville and Corey Goodwin (Michelle) of Sparta; and her brother Charles Adcock (Lucy) of McMinnville. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren.

In addition to flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Ms. Nunley.

“Its so sad that the "family" does not mention Eddie Jevahirian who if not for him she would not have a roof on her home a car to drive a stove to cook on washer dryer and I could go on. How sad too deny her of mentioning the man who loved her and took care of her, RIP Elaine you where such a wonderful lady you will be dearly missed.”
