He is survived by: his parent Violet Louise Davis Simmons; his significant other Rhonda Roberts of Spencer, TN; his son Tony Dewayne Simmons of Murfreesboro, TN; his grandsons, Robert Simmons of Murfreesboro and Matthew Simmons of Murfreesboro; and his siblings, Donnie Ray Simmons of Rock Island, Bobby Jewel, Sarah Simmons of Rice, TX, Barbara Sue, Cantrell III of McMinnville, TN, Kathy Lynn, Gary Bouldin of Rickman, TN, Henry McAdams of Burlington, NC, Frances Carolyn and Peter Nolan of Washington, DC. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
