It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Annie Ellen Cannon of Rock Island, Tennessee, born in McMinnville, Tennessee, who passed away on May 28, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Glenn and Mary Elizabeth Womack Glenn (Joe Cannon); her brothers, Clayton Glenn (Jenny Mae) and R. H. Glenn; and her great grandchild Cory Preston Cannon.
She is survived by: her sons, Glenn Cannon (Kathy) and Benny Cannon (Vanessa); her grandchildren, Jennifer Owens, Jeremy Cannon (Melissa), Jackie Hildreth, Ben Cannon (Katelyn), Lynn Cannon (Kristina) and Justin Cannon (Kim); and her siblings-in-law, Roy Cannon, Sr. and Audrey Cline Mullican. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the building fund at Berea Church of Christ.
