He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ellis Clowers; his sister-in-law Dorleen Loyd; and his nieces and nephews, Jane Bertram (Dickey), Regina Burchfield (Gary), Lloyd Lee Clowers and Jimmy Allen Clowers. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
