He is survived by: his wife Nancy Smithers of Robbins, TN; his sons, Jacob (Annette Smithers) of Robbins, TN, Jason Smithers (Angela Lloyd) of Robbins and Anthony Smithers of Dalton, GA; his siblings, Daniel Smithers of Huntsville, Ray Smithers (Mary) of Straight Fork and Cora Moffett (Barney) of Straight Fork; his brothers-in-law, Bob Bowling of Brimstone and Vernon Seibers of Petros, TN; and his grandchildren, Tiffany Smithers, Brooke Smithers, Joshua Smithers, Charlina Miles, Cheyenne Smithers, Whytte Smithers, Bailey Smithers, Shane Cooper, Ethan Cooper, Calbe Carroll, MaKayla Cooper, Bella Smithers, Evangeline Castaneda, Anna Castaneda, Jedidiah Smithers, Charlotte Smithers, Josiah Earwood, Jensen Earwood, Aubrey Miles, Zoe Miles and Alexander Maddox. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
