He is survived by: his wife Faye Foster Phillips; his grandsons, Brandon Phillips (Sarah), Bryce Phillips and Taylor Cook; his great grandchildren, Blaine and Jaxson Phillips; his stepgranddaughters, Brooke and Jordan; his sisters, Wanda Bowling (Floyd "Big"), Colvina Potter and Nora Ellis; his siblings-in-law, Jimmy Foster (Judy) and Helen Lewallen (Rick); his niece Denise Tompkins (Jerry); and his friends, Jim, Jeanne, Teddy "Bear", Peyton Carson, Ronnie Overton and Donnie Phillips. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
