She was predeceased by: her parents, Oronda Hughes and Sylvia Odom Hughes; and her siblings, Louise Hathaway, Lewis Hughes (Buddy), Blaine Hughes, G. W. Hughes and Glenn Hughes.
She is survived by: her husband Rev. Perry Markland, Sr.; her children, Karen Julian (Ford), Lori Powell (Jeff), Perry Markland, Jr. (Sue Ann) and Her; her siblings, Shirley Miller (Charlie), Harland Hughes (Layla) and Ronnie Hughes (Sharon); her grandchildren, Brent Powell (Beth), Karla Holtsclaw (Beecher), Kristen Turbyfill (Travis), Allie Wooten (Josh), Dylen Markland, Tyler Powell, Erin Julian, Kenzie Foster, Macy Waycaster (Trevor) and Meagen Markland; and her brothers, Dana and Larry Dean Markland.
