With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas R Gibbs of Roan Mountain, Tennessee, who passed away on April 14, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Avery and Edith Roberts Gibbs; and his brothers, Wayne and James Gibbs. He is survived by: his wife Mary Thomas Gibbs; his children, Jake Gibbs, Jesse Gibbs (Katie), Julia Gibbs of Roan Mountain and Jennifer Gibbs of Roan Mountain; and his grandchildren, Kourtney of Spruce Pine, Keiri Benfield of Spruce Pine and Grey Gibbs.
