It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sam Henry Oliver of Roan Mountain, Tennessee, who passed away on October 13, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Oliver and Beulah Oliver; and his brothers, William Clayton Oliver, Delliott Parker Oliver and Terry Lee Oliver.
He is survived by: his brother Walter Oliver (Doug); his sister-in-law Jessica Oliver; his children, Lisa (Stacy Street), Lynette (John Foster), Sondra (Ed Birchfield) and Stacy Oliver; and his grandchildren, Eric Bright, Ashley Pitt, Jonathan Moore, Brooke Hughes, Skyler Oliver and Jordan Street. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
