She was predeceased by: her parents, Carrick Johnson and Lucy Helen McCoury Johnson; her husband Sam Whitehead; her son Kevin Whitehead; and her sister Judy Lacy.
She is survived by: her children, Rita Tolley, Clifford Whitehead (Judy King), Hampton and Roger Whitehead (Margaret); her siblings, Jodie Smith (Malcolm) and Rudy Johnson (Patricia); and her close friends, Betty Street and Margaret Smith. She is also survived by Six Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren and two great great Grandchildren.
