We are sad to announce that on September 4, 2020, at the age of 55, Robin Annette Bowers of Roan Mountain, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Roy Gwyn; and her grandparents, Hayden, Clara Eller and Mammaw. She is survived by: her mother Linda Eller Gwyn; her husband James Bowers; her stepchildren, Eric Stump, Zachery Cook, Amanda Capps (Joshua) and Holly Bowers (Chad Holtzclaw); her siblings, Derrick Gwyn, Roger Gwyn, Durryl Jones, Jr. and Denise Jones; her stepgrandchildren, Kaiden, Ethan Stump, Meloney, Stephaney, Rhianna Capps, Gabrielle, Cordelia Holtzclaw and Mylan Cook; and her nephew Little Roger. She is also survived by Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Carter County is mandating that all citizens who live in or visit Carter County wear masks in public. In keeping in accordance with this mandate, all visitors to the open visitation are required to wear a mask or facial covering.
