He is survived by: his close friend Barbara Watson; his sons, Michael Scott Eggers (Debbie) of Elk Park and Shane Eggers (Shana) of Elizabethton; his brothers, James "Sam" Eggers (Jan) of Leesburg and Michael Eggers (Linda) of Banner Elk; and his grandchildren, Brittany Marie Eggers of Lost Cove, Harley Rayann Eggers of Banner Elk, Dustin Eggers of Banner Elk and William Lambert Eggers of California. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
