He was predeceased by: his parent John Johnson; his wife Katrene Willis Johnson; and his sisters, Viola Roark, Edith Holdren, Deliah Freeman, Creola Gentry and Ora Tony.
He is survived by: his parent Daisy Birchfield Johnson; his daughters, Paula Johnson Rovelo and Laura Johnson Szillus; his granddaughters, Paulina Katrene Rovelo, Angela Szillus and Rio Rancho; and his children, Jericho Temple, P. O. Box and Kingsport.
