He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Ellis and Lillian Hoss Ellis; and his brother Mark Ellis. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Snodgrass Ellis; his children, Lisa Ellis Boyle (Tom), Melanie Ellis Avjean (Jeff), Shawn Ellis Green (Jeff) and Virginia; his grandchildren, Lu Smith, Tyler Boyle, Madelyn Avjean, Zachary Avjean, Jessica Smith and Kevin Green; and his brother Randy Ellis.
