She was predeceased by: her parents, George Sheets and Ruth Sheets; her husband Herman Henson; her siblings, Donald Sheets, Sue Sheets Thompson and Anne Mae Greene; her half-brother Wayne; and her son-in-law Michael Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, Ruthie Taylor of Elizabethton, Wesley Henson (DeEtta) of Hampton and Scott Henson; her sister Nadine Sheets of Johnson City; her grandchildren, Michael Henson, Brady Henson of Hampton, Michaela Taylor of Elizabethton and Sarah Henson of Hampton; and her close friends, Kay Hogan and Tami Shell Hughes. She is also survived by family and several nieces and nephews.
